Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare Workers, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States (cloudflare.com). How Cloudflare is involved with your data is explained on the privacy page.

The service

• Bayyinli is free and needs no account. It is provided as it is, without a guarantee that it will always be available, free of errors or kept in its current form.
• A shared board is deleted automatically 24 hours after its lesson was created, and the teacher can delete it sooner. Keep your own copy (a lesson file, a PDF or pictures) of anything you want to keep longer.
• Whoever holds the teacher link manages the board. Keep it to yourself and do not share it with learners.

Acceptable use

• Use Bayyinli for teaching and learning.
• Do not put on a board anything you have no right to share, anything unlawful or offensive, or anyone else's personal data. Learners should use a nickname, not their full name.
• Do not try to get around the site's limits, to reach boards you were not invited to, or to overload its servers.

Boards that break these terms may be removed.

Content and licences

• The site's text, design and drawings (including the picture bank and stickers) are the publisher's. You may use worksheets and exports you make with Bayyinli in your teaching.
• What you put on a board remains yours.
• Bundled fonts: Noto Sans Arabic, Noto Naskh Arabic, Tajawal and Amiri, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
• Bundled libraries: pdf-lib (MIT), PDF.js (Apache License 2.0), perfect-freehand (MIT) and a QR-code generator by Kazuhiko Arase (MIT).

Liability

The publisher answers for the site within the limits that the applicable law allows. Bayyinli is not responsible for content that users put on boards.
